2180: New York VR updates!

Check out the latest developments on 2100: A Dystopian Utopia VR project on our Brooklyn site. We are envisioning a world where every bit of the built environment has a role to play in safeguarding the city from storms, absorbing CO2, and generating renewable energy from a variety of innovative sources. The animations below show infrastructure and buildings designed to generate energy via algae facades, windbelts, solar glass, facade windmills, and piezoelectric sidewalks as well as sequestering carbon through trees, carbon capture technology, and rewilding the city. Can the city also be a forest? We think so! Thanks go out to Andrew Homick for the beautiful animations and Sandra Lyboun for sound!
